In this signed limited edition from the After Hours collection, we encounter a trilby with a feather in it, thick framed glasses, the Lacoste logo, tools of the trade wielded with nonchalant confidence – and these are just some of the details which go into creating the bearded character regarding us quizzically from the barber’s chair. In his signature style, contemporary figurative artist Vincent Kamp has used a dark and intense background to highlight the bight tattoos and the white of the figure’s shirt and draw the eye down to the enigmatic message written across his fist.
